About Me
- Tim Perkins
- Lancashire, United Kingdom
- I’m a UK based comic and conceptual artist - designer and writer. I began work as a graphic designer in 1980 moving into comics and children’s books in 1983. I’ve worked for Marvel, DC, 2000AD, London Editions, Defiant, Tekno, Triffik and Toontastic, amongst many other publishers on titles such as Transformers, Thundercats, Dr. Who, Death’s Head, Judge Dredd, Chopper, Future Shocks, Dreamstone, Dinoswords, Tiny Toons, Big Book of Death, Dark Dominion and Phage Shadowdeath - amongst many others. In 1999 I left the comic business for a while, becoming a Conceptual Artist in the Theme Park Industry. This lead to work in animation, producing character designs, layouts, backgrounds, storyboards, pre and post production art and script writing. I’m course tutor at Fantasy Art Unlimited. I’m Company Director of Wizards Keep Limited and recently published our “Science Fusion” Graphic Novel series - Worlds End – Volume 1 – The Riders on the Storm.
